This weekend was busy, as was today at work and I have been in project mode since I got home so today Music Monday is going to be abbreviated. Every time I hear a new Freeway track, he continues to rise higher and higher on my list of favorite MCs, not just of right now, but of all time. Philly Freezer stayin’ on his grind.

Us Vs Them
Just saw the freshly released artwork for Brother Ali’s newest offering, Us, dropping on 9/22. Also, he’ll be in Philly on 11/6 so I’m about to pre-order my tickets right now.
Sometimes when I am using the automatic flushing urinals at work, the flusher goes off while I am still standing there and it makes me wonder if I may have been killed and turned into a ghost on the walk from my desk to the restroom.
The Fantastic Mr. Fox
Wes Anderson is one of my favorite directors and with the news that he is doing an adaptation of Roald Dahl’s The Fantastic Mr. Fox, I was almost excited as I was when I learned Spike Jonze was doing Where the Wild Things Are. Of course Anderson is including his regulars which makes this news even better as voices will be done by Bill Murray, Adrien Brody, Owen Wilson, Jason Schwartzman and more. Both of the aforementioned films should be nothing short of amazing and here are some stills from the movie:
