Also, Music Monday will be postponed until next week due to my vacationing. Apologies to anyone I may be letting down.
View from our balcony at night on the ranch.
If you didn’t know the reason for my hiatus, let me fill you in with one picture, and infinitely more than a thousand words (pause):
Should I plan to stay working in a business casual environment, and actually have to dress appropriately, I absolutely want Band of Outsiders to clothe me for the setting. Hell, even if I don’t need to dress this way, I should because it looks so damn good.
Another great Fall/Winter collection.
My Dunny collecting has been mildly discouraging lately, as the last 4 blind boxes I have picked up have all been repeats and the repeats were some of my least favorite ones from the Olde English series. Nonetheless, this one is fantastically done by Amanda Vissell in the 8″ variety, and I doubt I will be getting my hands on it unfortunately.
The Lovely Package is becoming one of my favorite daily blog visits, and I really love the simplicity of not only the packaging and box design but also the wooden animal kingdom pieces inside.
Steve Powers, AKA ESPO, along with a sizeable amount of collaborators have started the “Love Letter” art project in Philly which will end up encompassing 50 different walls. I knew this was in the works for a bit now, but finally seeing photos of some of the finished products is really cool and makes me want to go on a mission to find them all when the process is complete.
The Marlboro Man Blues is still being finalized with some potential last minute additions and re-ordering for maximal flow, but I have constructed a pretty stellar lineup so far. Take a peak.

For this week’s Music Monday I am going back to my roots. Grassroots. Bluegrass. Bluegrassroots. Country music at its finest in honor of our trip to Montana on Wednesday. Hank Snow, Ray Price, Porter Wagoner, Hank Williams Sr., Patsy Cline, and all of the classics that were introduced to me courtesy of my Gramps, Dave Hawkins. Tonight I am going to work on creating a playlist for the voyage westward but rest assured that the aforementioned cast will certainly be found on the compilation. Check back tonight for the finalized track listing.
